Our mission is to prepare FICers with the resources, education, and network to succeed across a diverse range of careers within the financial services industry and beyond.

Through our analyst training programs, we accelerate technical development of accounting, finance, and business concepts. You’ll have the opportunity to explore a variety of careers and industries across finance while partaking in workshops to assist with your career development. From hands-on training to fireside chats, you’ll explore the gamut of careers while building the soft and hard skills to become a succesful analyst

Since inception in 2007, we’ve had the opportunity to cultivate our alumni network into a dedicated group of individuals who continue to give back to FIC. You’ll be able to tap into our 300+ global alumni through coffee chats, mixer events, and speaker fireside chats. Your involvement with FIC doesn’t end after graduation—you’ll be able to give back through mentorship, speaker events, and alumni hangouts.

Creating positive impact

We welcome and celebrate the diverse perspectives that helps us achieve extraordinary, enduring results. We’re proud to share a snapshot of our work and continued efforts to drive social impact.

  • To enhance our diversity & inclusion strategy, we host coffee chat opportunities to allow diverse individuals to learn about the FIC experience and community. We also reach out to a diverse array of organizations on campus to broaden outreach to underrepresented groups.

  • On the external front, we host speaker panels and collaborative events with campus organizations and external partners to introduce FICers to the interdisciplinary nature of finance.

    Internally, we host a variety of social events to facilitate community. From 5am wake-ups to run the Turkey Trot, to our annual holiday party, to our Senior Sendoff we create a meaningful environment for our members to develop their community.

    Once part of FIC, we also expose students to the wide array of mission-driven organizations that exist to help place students into careers.

    We’re proud to have helped students through organizations such as SEO, MLT, GWI, and O4U among others.

  • We launched our Women@FIC resource group in 2023 as a space for female-identifying members to grow personally and professionally in their endeavors. From movie nights, trips to San Francisco, and workout classes, the women of FIC have a built-in community to feel empowered.

    Furthermore, our Personal Development (PD) program for junior FICers is an opportunity to grab a cup of coffee with a senior mentor while receiving mentorship on career, life, and anything in between.
